Most successful applicants have previous experience with a boom truck, log loader, grapple and to a lesser extent, crane or excavator.   • Picking up railroad ties, rail, or powerline poles using a rear mounted log loader boom
  • Loading trucks or rail cars
  • Removing debris at sites using log loader boom
  • Able to work long hours, overtime and possible weekend work in various weather conditions
  • Willing and able to work away from home for weeks at a time
  • Filling out daily paperwork

Job Requirements

  • Able to work long hours in all weather conditions
  • Travel for 4 weeks at a time, then home for one week
  • Hold valid driver’s license
  • Have had no felonies in the past 7 years
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds
  • Follow all Safety Program, Policies and Procedures
  • Completely and accurately fill out daily paperwork
  • Able to learn the basic use of a smartphone
  • Basic mechanical knowledge in order to make small repairs (change hydraulic hose, grease and lube, safety walk around inspection)
  • Class A or B CDL preferred but not required
  • Able to pass pre-employment drug test and random drug tests after hiring
