$10 an hour - Full-time, Temporary

This is a temp-to-hire, full-time position with a starting pay of $10 +/hour on 2nd shift (3:30 p.m. - 2 a.m.). You will work 3 months, and will be evaluated at the end of that 3 months. If you are hired in, your pay will increase to $15.35/hour with step increases up to $17.50/hour after 39 weeks.

Job Description:

  • Will be working at the Orrville production plant mechanically combining raw materials to produce finished product
  • Must understand the mixing of active solution vessels, premixes, and all raw material bases for products produced
  • Operate a computer controlled production system for multiple raw material ingredients that are processed in a mix room
  • Solve daily operation problems with limited supervision
  • Actively maintain good housekeeping standards in their assigned area
  • Safety conscience
  • Complete daily job checklists and equipment checks/calibrations to maintain quality
  • Maintain accurate records of raw materials, samples, and equipment operations
  • Operate a forklift to transport materials
  • Perform safety audits on equipment


  • Set up machines at the beginning of shift to ensure proper working order
  • Perform testing procedures to ensure that machines work optimally during the production procedures
  • Maintain and clean machines before and after each shift
  • Feed information akin to speed, shapes, and sizes through the machine set up box
  • Place parts in semi-automated machines
  • Calibrate machines at the beginning of each shift
  • Recalibrate machines at the end of each shift
  • Monitor machines during everyday procedure to ensure optimum running
  • Troubleshoot problems during machine operation
  • Ensure that regular and preventative maintenance procedures are carried out
  • Perform random tests to ensure accuracy
