At the Quality Inn & Suites, our goal is to provide exceptional service that requires associates to "Be Professional, Be Responsive, and Be Friendly." We are looking for employees who can demonstrate these behaviors while effectively and efficiently selling hotel rooms, performing check in and check out services, and preparing breakfast. 

As a night auditor, you should be available to work overnight (11 pm to 7 am) and be flexible to work holidays and weekends. 

Responsibilities and Duties 

  • Provide exceptional guest service in a positive and clear speaking voice and listen attentively to understand requests 

  • Verify and gain credit card authorizations using electronic acceptance methods 

  • Handle cash, provide correct change to guests, and balance your cashier shift with no errors 

  • Post charges to guest rooms and/or house accounts as needed 

  • Retrieve messages, mail and facsimiles for guests as requested 

  • Research and perform audit revenue functions 

  • File paid invoices and previous shifts's work in night audit packs 

  • Research and respond to room charge inquiries on a timely basis 

  • Send copies of guest folios on a timely basis via fax or mail 

  • File registration cards in suite number order 

  • Ensure breakfast is hot and ready by 6 am and that all necessary condiments and utensils are well-stocked according Choice Hotels International Standards 

Qualifications and Skills 

  • High school graduate or completion of GED 

  • Must be able to speak and write fluently in English 

  • Provide clear spoken communications and directions 

  • Compute basic mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers) 

  • Must not have any criminal convictions or arrests for any misdemeanor or felony related to theft, fraud, or breach of honesty
