We are a Southeastern based Dryvan Carrier with a large and active customer base. We have just opened up some brand-new lanes that we would like to share with you. You will not find a more driver friendly company to work with, than Freedom Express Jacksonville, a Dryvan Division of the US 1 Network.
• We have plenty of freight and have kept our fleet running throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
• We pay by the mile, so you will not be affected by the historically low paying freight rates these days.
• You will never have to worry about unpaid deadheads, we pay ALL miles, loaded or empty.

• We have a Fuel Discount program that is one of the best in the industry, our fleet is currently enjoying discounts ranging from $0.85 to $1.00 or more below marquee posted prices. These are HUGE discounts!
OUR NEW LANES:
With a 24/7 drop hook shipper in Huntsville AL as your primary focus, we have multiple lanes running to San Antonio and Houston TX every day. Your return legs come out of Laredo and Austin TX respectively, and as mentioned earlier – your deadhead miles are paid the same as loaded.
Return Legs will either ship directly back to Northern AL, or East towards our home base in Jacksonville FL, and from there you would load back up to Huntsville AL.
You will maintain a very consistent average of 2500 to 3000 paid miles per week. These are nice long legs averaging 1000+ miles per, that consistently run back through your home city. Your home time is built right into this OTR position!
PAY PROGRAM:
Base Rate $1.00/mi + FSC* (currently at $0.14/mi) = $1.14/mi.
That’s $1.14/mi for ALL dispatched miles – Loaded, Empty and Bobtail. – No Gimmicks.
*(FSC shown is based on the US-EIA national average fuel price of $2.386 as posted 051820, FSC is adjusted .01 per every .06 change in fuel price in either direction).
And do not forget about your Fuel Discounts available at all Flying J, Pilot, TA and Petro Stations. These are HUGE discounts! Discounts available at other locations as well, including Loves, Speedco and others, but your BEST discounts will always be at the 4 mentioned locations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
You Must be at least (25) years of age and have at least (2) years of CDL Tractor-Trailer experience within the last 10 years (12 months experience must be within past 36 months), no felonies within the last 10 years, and no convictions for possession, sale or use of any illegal drugs (misdemeanor or felony), and of course a respectable MVR and PSP score, (pre-qualification only takes a couple of hours).
Onboarding can be completed in 3 to 4 days – Start to Finish!

My name is Mae Hughes, and I am the founder of 2nd Chances 4 Felons. I started this organization out of my own journey and struggles as a felon determined to rebuild my life.
When I tried to turn things around, I searched everywhere for real support—asking for guidance, visiting agencies, and combing the internet—yet I found little to no true help. Time and time again, I sat in interviews explaining how much I had grown and changed, only to be rejected because of my past. No matter what I did, people could not see beyond the label of “convicted felon.”
At my breaking point, I faced a choice: give in to frustration and anger, or transform my struggle into something greater. I chose the second path. Instead of letting my situation defeat me, I decided to create a resource—not only for myself, but for others walking the same difficult road. That’s how 2nd Chances 4 Felons was born.
This organization exists to remind people with records that opportunities do exist—that giving up is not the answer. My mission is to reduce the number of individuals who lose hope simply because they believe no help is available. Everyone deserves a chance to prove that change is possible, not just through words, but through present actions.
I earned my Associate’s degree in Business from the University of Phoenix in 2012, and as a mother, my children remain my greatest motivation. They are the reason I strive to do better and be better every day.
My prayer is that 2nd Chances 4 Felons will continue to be a source of guidance, encouragement, and opportunity for those who need it most. To anyone facing these struggles, know this: your past does not define your future, and you are worthy of a second chance.
