POSITION: Facility Monitor/Support Staff ***ON CALL*** 

PROGRAM: Long Term Offender Reentry & Recovery Program (LTORRP)

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: This position reports to the Program Supervisor 

RESPONSIBILITIES: The LTORRP Monitor works as part of a team, and independently to supervise Participants in the program. They are responsible for monitoring the facility and Participants during various shifts including during and after business hours, seven (7) days a week, including holidays and weekends. 

Essential Functions: 

  • Assist Case Managers with the delivery of Participant services and activities, as necessary. 

  • Monitor facility and conduct facility rounds and ensure that the facility is clean and organized at all times. 

  • Provide excellent customer service by answering telephones, greeting visitors, and other administrative tasks as assigned. 

  • Completing incident reports, non-compliance notification forms, rounds/shift report, and maintenance requires forms 

  • Provide crisis intervention as needed 

  • Conduct program orientations for newly arrived Participants 

  • Provide kitchens support as needed including but not limited to meal preparation & service for breakfast, lunch and dinner, clean-up at end of meals 

  • Verify that all Participants are accounted for and in compliance with program rules 

  • Attend all mandatory meetings and in-service trainings 

  • Provide transportation for Participants, as needed 

  • Maintain professional boundaries with Participants at all times 

  • Provide all other duties as assigned by the Supervising Case Manager, or Program Director 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Ability to work with individuals from various backgrounds 

  • Experience working with justice involved individuals in a residential setting 

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills REQUIRED 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Must be twenty-one (21) years of age 

  • Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent 

  • Must pass a Criminal Background Check (GOL is a second chance employer) 

  • Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening 

  • TB Clearance 

  • Food Handler’s Card 

  • CPR/First Aid 

  • Valid Driver's License/Identification Card
