Summary of Job Duties: 

The Department of Food Science at the University of Arkansas Agricultural Experiment Station is seeking a highly motivated and outstanding postdoctoral researcher to work in the food engineering program of Dr. Ali Ubeyitogullari. The successful candidate will work on 3D food printing to enhance the bioavailability of micronutrients. The postdoctoral researcher will focus on developing food-grade bioink materials, optimizing the 3D printing conditions, and evaluating the bioaccessibility of micronutrient-loaded foods. 

 
Qualifications: 

The candidate should have (i) a PhD degree in food science, food engineering, or a related field , (ii) strong research experience in food engineering, novel food processing technologies, and food analysis , (iii) a consistent record of publications in high - quality journals, and (iv) good communication skills both in writing and speaking. The selected candidate must be able to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team . Candidates with a ddi tional experience in extracting bioactive compounds, improv ing bio accessibility, encapsulation , and 3D printing are desired .
