Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is looking for a high energy, positive attitude, team-minded Senior Material Handler to join our team! Pay: $12.00 / hour 

Job Type: Full-time 

Hours of Operation: 

Monday-Saturday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM 
Sunday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM 

Essential Duties and Tasks: 

  • Serve as the Safety & Wellness Captain and communicate updates daily and at monthly store meetings. Also, works with manager to complete monthly safety/wellness deadlines. 

  • Displays great customer service and assistance by greeting donors and customers; offers receipts and informational fliers as set by operating guidelines. 

  • Assists in providing direction and modeling of job duties to other Material Handlers, and trains material handlers on Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s). May serve as a coach in one-on-one training with a Material Handler(s). 

  • Provide input to the manager regarding employee performance and safety concerns for corrective action 

  • Rotates stock in production area as needed and communicates product demand to manager/transportation; prepares material for shipping. 

Education and Experience: 

  • No Education required. High School Diploma or GED, preferred. 

  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work. 

 
 

Physical Demands: 

  • Ability to lift/carry 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally. 

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store.
