Must clear a fit for work physical and hearing base line exam.

Must clear drug screening.

Job Description

  • Receive trucks, both IMSE and 3rd party transporters, by directing trucks to appropriate dock, examining bill of lading and work order, and inspecting the contents of the load.
  • Receive loads by off-loading material using hand truck, pallet jack, or forklift then weight material and enter load data information into the company’s material tracking software.
  • Resolve discrepancies between shipping/work order documents and actual load content.
  • Deliver or route incoming material to the appropriate department for processing using equipment such as hand truck, pallet jack, and forklift.
  • Prepare processed material for shipping by weighing, entering material data information into the company’s material tracking software and creating finished goods tags.
  • Prepare loads for shipping by reviewing data base inventory records, work orders, and pulling finished goods to create loads and generate bill of lading in our software.
  • Receive material from unscheduled “drive-up/walk-up” customers.
  • Assist with determining shipping method for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates as needed.
  • Assist dispatcher with scheduling inbound/outbound loads as needed.
  • Process shipping and receiving paperwork and turn records into office for processing.
