Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Reads work order to determine items to be gathered for shipment.
Moves material using forklift from receiving rack to shipping area.
Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
Marks material with identifying information.
Uses a binder or wrap in plastic to secure material for shipment.
Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
Uses computer to look up information on material.
Drives forklift to move items to shipping area.
Prepares parcels for mailing and UPS.
Maintains inventory records.
CAD/Burner Experience a PLUS but not required
